Description
The tasting of the famous Apulian olive oil takes place in a suggestive landscape among ancient olive trees: you will live a day discovering the best Italian oil, the organic extra virgin olive oil (EVO oil), from harvesting to processing the precious food that for thousands of years has accompanied and ennobled the history and healthy diet of the Mediterranean people, earning the reputation of "green gold". During the visit to one of the oil mills of our community, you will discover not only the extraction methods and the entire production process, but also the chemical-physical and nutritional characteristics of this important gift of nature. The agricultural practices used for generations guarantee the absolute genuineness of the products in full respect of the ecosystem that characterizes Apulian agriculture. At the end of the visit you will taste the oil together with other typical products. In some periods it is possible to participate to the olive harvest (from October to November).
Costs
The participation fee for this type of experience starts from € 15 per person, and increases according to the duration of the chosen activity and the type of tasting that follows the tasting of the oil.
Where
There are numerous oil mills in all Puglia where the typical extra virgin olive oil is produced: PlacenPeople organizers are ready to welcome you to guide you in the knowledge of this precious food in various locations.
Duration and Period
The duration of this type of experience ranges from 2 to 6 hours. If you choose the longer experiences, a lunch with typical products is often included. In the period of October and November it's possible to witness directly all the processes of transformation of olives into oil.
Available places
The experience will take place starting from 2 until 25 participants. If there is availability, a single person can join an already created group. It is necessary to wait for confirmation from our organizer.

Cancellation
By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd).
