Description
Do you want to breathe the scent of the sea, admire its majesty from a cliff, immerse yourself in colors and aromas of olive, fig and almond trees typical of the Apulian countryside, accompanied by a noble and powerful animal like a magnificent steed? These horseback riding tours are the ones for you. You will explore the most beautiful Apulian landscapes and wild nature, in contact with a strong and kind animal and guided by expert instructors. From cliffs to the soft shore, passing through the Mediterranean scrub, pine forests and olive groves, the experience will leave you an unforgettable memory of breathtaking sceneries and deep contact with nature.
Don't be afraid if you are a beginner: horses are used to lead even inexperienced people and gaits are chosen by the instructor based on the participants. Comfortable clothing is recommended, with sport shoes and long trousers.
Costs
Fee from € 20 to € 50 per person, depending on the route and duration. The price includes cap, which is previously sanitized.
Where
PlacenPeople community's organizers are scattered throughout the region: the main riding schools are on the Adriatic coast of Puglia, on the Gargano and in the areas of Monopoli and Torre dell'Orso. Instructors are also available in Bari for a route recommended only for expert users. The meeting points are easily accessible by car.
An english translator is available on request, but not mandatory for the activity itself.
Duration and Period
Depending on your preferences, the horseback ride can range from 45 minutes to 2 hours.
The recommended period is from spring to autumn (April-October), however during the year our organizers, weather permitting, are always ready to go out. Comfortable clothes recommended and arrival at least 20 minutes before departure. The routes are suitable for people over 12, even beginners.
Available places
A group is formed starting from 2 people until 10 participants. If there is availability, a single person can join an existing group. It's necessary to wait for confirmation from our organizer.

💳- You can pay a deposit of 20% or you can pay all in advance, with PayPal or card. Activities in PlacenPeople are sold directly by the Organizers.
👍- You and the Organizer will talk by phone and meet on the day of the activity. You will complete the payment directly to him/her.
Cancellation
By completing the payment, you agree to the Terms of Use. In case of cancellation, only the deposit is lost. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before midnight on the date of the activity by writing to PlacenPeople and the Organizer (e.g. activities on July 5th, cancellation possible until July 3rd).
